5 People arrested for stealing in Lefkosa

Five people were on Thursday arrested for allegedly stealing aluminum and chrome parts from a plot at Alayköy Industrial Zone, Lefkosa.

The suspects, Murat Demir, Vahit Bayır, Mehmet Güleryüz, Mustafa Yürek and Kasım Aslanoglu were arrested and taken to court Alayköy Industrial Zone on Thursday on the grounds stealing.

According to police report, the suspects confessed to the crime.

The suspects reportedly stole 18 wooden and 20 aluminum drawer cabinets with estimated values ​​of 15,000 Turkish Lira in a plot located at Alayköy Industrial Zone 3rd Avenue belonging to one Ahmet Taçoy.

The suspects claim that they wanted to evaluate them if there were garbage.

The suspects were ordered to remain in police custody for one day for investigation purposes by the court judge.
