5 Injured after building under construction collapsed in Iskele

At least five people were injured when a scaffold for concrete on the first floor of a building site collapsed on Saturday in Iskele.

According to report, the injured were working on a hotel construction near the Makenzi beach in Iskele when part of the building collapsed.

The injured identified as Kotitaş Turizm AŞ, 40, Medeni Akbal, 30, Dursun Bolat, 37 Ercan Sezgen, 20 and Cemal Kayaş, 36 were putting concrete on the first floor of the ongoing hotel construction when it collapsed.

They were taken to the Famagusta State Hospital.
