Women in TRNC staged March in lefkosa to mark International Women's Day

Women in North Cyprus on Thursday took to the streets in a Walk to fight against fascism, wars and oppression of women as the world marks International Women's Day.

 Today series of events were held from all around the world to mark the International Women's Day observed annually on March 8.

 Women in Cyprus as part of events to mark the day took to the streets in a March with the theme; 'Women fighting against fascism, wars and oppression''.

The women marched through Dereboyu and other major streets in Lefkosa to the North Cyprus parliament where a speech was delivered.
