Women in North Cyprus to staged a walk in Lefkosa to mark World Labor Day
Women in North Cyprus will on Thursday staged a walk in lefkosa to mark World Labor Day for women.
The walk with the theme: "Women are struggling against reaction, fascism and wars" will hold on Thursday March, 8 in Lekosa.
According to statement made by the Women's Education Society, the walk will start at 5:30pm at the Derebouyu Citroen Lights and will end in front of the Parliament with a press release.
The event organized by Baraka Cultural Center, Independence Road, Cyprus Pir Sultan Abdal Cultural Association and Özgür Genç Women's Assembly in conjunction with the Women's Education Collective invites all women, unions, political parties and organizations sensitive to women's rights to attend.
Everyone is advised to come with their banner for the walk.
