Turkish Lira still low against foreign currencies

The Turkish Lira has stabled a bit against foreign currencies in the interbank market on Tuesday starting the day at  3.96/USD, 4.93/Euros and 5.64/Pounds Sterling.

This is coming after a very high downward slide of the Turkish Lira against the dollars last week.

Although the dollar rallied above 3.99 on Monday, it retreated from these levels while it broke all time record with 4.0375 last week.

The Euro which now trades at 4.93 reached a record high of 4.9728 last week.

The news of the US-China talks revived the hopes that a damaging trade war would be prevented.
