Turkish Cypriot arrested for drugs in the South Cyprus
The Greek Cypriot Narcotics police on Tuesday arrested a 23-year-old Turkish Cypriot in Limassol for drug possession.
According to report, police had tried to stop a car used by a 30-year-old Greek Cypriot and the suspect but instead of stopping, the car sped off which led to a chase by the police.
After stopping the car, police carried out a search on it following which a cigarette, 8g Cocaine and 15 grams of crystalline methamphetamine, as well as knives and sticks were found.
The two men were arrested and detained for four days by the Limassol Court.
