TRNC police introduces new technology to help fight traffic crime

The TRNC traffic police has introduced a new inquiry software that could help reduce crime and arrest criminals in the country.

The handbook tablets developed by the General Directorate of Police in order to prevent crime and to provide technological hardware and software services for crime prevention are being used by the police in order to serve the public more effectively and efficiently.

Thanks to this developed system, Police team can now conduct and verify online data inquiry from the police information center during traffic control to prevent crime and arrest criminal.

The system by the Police General Directorate of Communication and Data Processing Department software teams and the purchasing of industrial type hand tablets has been completed and put into practice in all District Police Offices.

Driver's and vehicle history and information can now be accessed though the technology.
