Six people arrested for drug abuse in Lefkosa, Girne and Gonyeli

Six people have been arrested by the TRNC Narcotics police in a raid in Girne, Gönyeli and Lefkosa for drug abuse on Wednesday.

According to police report, the six suspects identified as B.U, 17, B.A, 35, A.OK, 30, S.E, 25, A.I.A, 21 and K.M, 22 were arrested in a drug operation by the police on Wednesday.

A substance and a drug hacker weighing 6g believed to be a type of junk hemp drug was found in the residence of B.U and B.A (K-35). A.O.K  believed to be related to the suspects was also arrested.

S.E was arrested with 5g of junk hemp type drugs at his residence in Gönyeli while A.I.A was arrested with half a gram of junk hemp type drugs.

In Lefkosa, 2 items believed to be LSD type drugs were found in the residence of K.M and items believed to be MDMA type drugs of about half in gram weight.
