North Cyprus has 61 percent ‘life satisfaction’ rate

Did you know that North Cyprus has a 61 percent ‘life satisfaction’ rate??? Well this is according to the new to new public opinion figures released by the European Commission last week. 

According to the report, North Cyprus was ranked 22 points below the European Union average of 83 percent.

Some 61 percent of Tukish Cypriots said they were 'satisfied with life' in the TRNC. The biggest problem facing Turkish Cypriots, according to the 2017 study, is prices, inflation and cost of living (32%), the economic situation (28%), and unemployment (25%).

The study conducted in November last year, is based on 500 face-to-face interviews.

Statistics were also revealed about the community’s opinion on political issues and the European Union.
