Man United draw Tottenham in FA Cup semifinals; Chelsea vs Southampton

Manchester United will face Tottenham in the FA Cup semifinals, while Chelsea will play Southampton as the four teams fight for a place in the final.

The semifinal draw took place immediately after Chelsea saw off Leicester City 2-1 in extra time in the last of the quarterfinals on Sunday evening.

United will have the added challenge of facing Tottenham at Wembley, where Spurs have played all of their home games this season while waiting for the completion of their new stadium.

United and Tottenham have met twice already this season, with Jose Mourinho & Co. coming out on top at Old Trafford before being dismantled at Wembley in January.

Chelsea have won 12 of their previous 22 semi-final outings and beat Tottenham at the same stage, and venue, last season. The last three times the Blues knocked Leicester City out of the FA Cup, they went on to win the competition.
Tottenham have won the competition eight times, one more than Chelsea, but have lost 11 of their 20 appearances in the last four. Once in the final, though, they have won eight of nine.

Southampton are set to make their 12th semi-final outing, winning just four of the previous 11. They last made the FA Cup semi-final in 2002-03 where they beat Watford at Villa Park before losing to Arsenal at the Millennium Stadium.

Saints have lost in their previous four meetings with Chelsea, conceding nine goals, and meet again in the Premier League on April 14.

The two teams last met in the FA Cup in January 2013, with Chelsea running out convincing 5-1 winners at St. Mary's as Demba Ba scored twice on this debut
