Dust particles still very high in the atmosphere

Dust level in the atmosphere around the Cyprus island has remained high for the fifth day running.

As at Monday morning the dust level in the atmosphere were still very visible with an average hourly concentrations of inhalable particulates with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10).

The dust from north Africa has been visible in the island since Thursday last week and will continue into Monday midnight.

Residents and vulnerable individuals are advised to take caution.
