Cyprus Weather: Rain in the forecast for Wednesday night and Thursday

The Meteorology Department has announced that rain is expected  on Wednesday night and on Thursday clearing the skies of the high levels of Saharan dust that has been blanketing the island for the past week.

Temperatures are also expected to drop by 8 degrees on Thursday following the rainfall.

On Friday, the skies will be partly cloudy with no rain expected.

Winds will be generally northerly and westerly moderate but will change to strong Southerly and Westerly winds on Thursday.

Temperatures will be 24-27 degrees inland and 20-23 degrees on coasts until Wednesday before dropping to 16-19 degrees on Thursday.
