6 People injured in Famagusta truck collision

Six people have been wounded in an road traffic accident in Famagusta after a heavy laden truck crashed into two vehicles at a round about at the Eastern Mediterranean University on Thursday evening.

According to police report, the accident happened at about 4:30pm on Thursday.

The truck coming from the Famagusta axis attempted to enter the round-about when it collided into two other vehicles. One of the vehicles was thrown off the road following an impact from the truck.

The occupants of the vehicles, İsmail Saygılı, İrfan Metec, Ahmet Mesut, Faries Zavein, Tareg Mahmut Ahme Alsahi and Emran Arar were slightly injured in the accident and taken to the Gazimağusa State Hospital for treatment.
