10 People including 7 soldiers injured in an accident along the Alayköy-Turkeli highway

Ten people, including some soldiers were reportedly injured in a traffic accident involving a private car and a military vehicle along the Alayköy-Turkeli highway on Monday evening.

According to police report, the accident happened at about 5:00pm on Monday evening along the Alayköy -Turukeli highway.

The car, a rental car is said to have made a careless entry on the Alayköy direction of the road colliding with the military vehicle at a bend.

Seven people in the military vehicle and three civilians in the other car were injured in the accident and were taken to the Lefkoşa State Hospital in three ambulances.
