Turkish Cypriot condemns murder of Nigerian student, attacks community for being silent on the issue
A Turkish Cypriot man has voiced his support for murdered Nigerian student blasting the media, Human Rights Advocates, intellectuals, and several NGO for how they handled the matter, describing it as racism.
According to his post on his Facebook page on Thursday, Türkmen Töre criticized the free media, the community, Human Rights Advocates, intellectuals and NGOs, for being silent because the person involved is not Cypriot or Turkish.
He noted that Kennedy is human and need justice arguing that if it was a Cypriot who was brutally murdered, all the people will be on the streets protesting.
