North Cyprus court sentence three students to several months in prison

Three Africans arrested for drug related offenses and charge to court, has been sentenced to several months in imprisonment by a Lefkosa court.

The court announcing it's decision on the drug case on Friday, said all accused were guilty of taking, giving and possessing drugs.

Senior Judge Alev Ulunay Hüdaverdi, who read the decision on behalf of the court, said drug trafficking was a serious and grave crime in the country, pointing out that drug threatened young people, especially those with little experience in life.

The court in it's decision, sentenced M.I to 5 months in prison, E.I to 3 months in prison A.A to 15 months imprisonment.
