Sister of murdered Nigerian student demand justice for brother
Sister of Nigerian student who was brutally murdered in cold blood by 7 people on Monday last week in Famagusta, North Cyprus, has demanded justice for her brother.
Mariam Dede made the call in an interview with a Greek Cypriot daily on Sunday.
According to Marian who is also a student in North Cyprus, her brother before his death had tried to seek police help when he was first attacked by the hoodlums.
Emphasizing on the importance of live, Marian said her brother Kennedy called the police several times before he was brutally murdered on Monday and had asked for help from the authorities.
Demanding to know what happened to her brother, she said;

Kennedy Taomwabwa Dede, 28, an Architecture student at the Eastern Mediterranean University in Magusa was kidnapped by 7 people on Monday, January, 29 from his resident in Magusa. He was then taken to the Çanakkale lake outskirt of the city where he was seriously beaten and killed.
He was left half naked in the Çanakkale Pond with half his body in the lake and the other half outside.
Following the incident, 7 suspects connected with the murder were arrested and charged to court for murder, human abduction and serious assault.
The suspects are Ozan Korkurt, 18, Zekeriya Founder, 22, Burcu Çelik, 16, Onur Körkurt, 21, Simge Dağdur, 28, Aydan Sel and Nidai Şanlı, 28.
They are all in police custody and will appear in court on Friday this week while Nidai Şanlı the ringleader will appear in court on Monday.
Since the incident, there has been a massive outcry and protests by the Nigerian community in North Cyprus demanding justice for Kennedy.

This island is really bad. Police do not take complaints into account. Police should consider not only their own citizens but also the security of foreigners.
