Faces of murder suspects revealed, one confessed to being a witness when Nigerian student, Kennedy was killed

One of the suspect arrested for the murder of Nigerian student, Kennedy Taomwabwa Dede in Magusa on Tuesday,  has confessed in court that she was not involved in the killing but was present at the scene of the incident. 

There was tension in Magusa on Wednesday following the death of 28-year-old Nigerian student who was reportedly kidnapped, beaten and murdered by 8 Turkish citizens while his body was dumped in a lake outside the city.

Three teenagers including a girl were arrested by the police and arraigned in a Famagusta court on Wednesday for murder charges. 

The suspects are; Zekeriya, 22, Ozan Korkurt, 18 and B.Ç, 16 who is a female. In a statement, one of the suspects confessed that he was at the scene of the murder and said, "I did not shoot, I just watched."

 They were ordered to remain in police detention for two days for investigation purpose. 

Kennedy, a student at the Eastern Mediterranean University was adopted from his home on Monday, beaten and taken out of town to a lake where he was murdered. 

A child reportedly found Kennedy's body in a pond outside the city. 

Police say they are still seeking for five other suspects involved in the incident. 

Meanwhile there was a massive protest in Magusa on Wednesday by the Nigerian community who demanded that justice be served and the suspects revealed. 

Friends of the deceased disclosed that Kennedy had been kidnapped previously in a similar way a week ago and that the incident was reported to the police who did nothing about it.

  1. it being long all is issues about guys in cyprus killing the black and this time it has to stop all black in cyprus have to come out and fight for there rite we need to put end on this please it was painful to see my dear black guy kill by white person .
