Murder of Nigerian student: Three more people arrested to remain in prison for a day

Three more people have been arrested by the TRNC police in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Nigerian student Kennedy Taomwabwa Dede. The arrest brings the number of people arrested to six.

The suspects were arrested in Famagusta on Thursday. They are; Mahkeme Onur Korkurt, 21, Simge Dağdur ve, 18 and Aydan Sel (K-28). The court ordered that they remain in police detention for a day.

Kennedy Taomwabwa Dede, 28, a student at the Eastern Mediterranean University in Magusa was kidnapped and beaten by 7 people on Monday, January, 29 and then taken to the Çanakkale lake where he was killed.
