Lady deliberately starved by grandfather shares recovery photos
In the harrowing reality of domestic abuse, Wild Cabbage dropped to just 2 stone 6 pounds after being starved by her grandfather, who banned her from eating and according to her, when caught by her grandfather secretly eating, he would “kick her in the belly”.
The lady who shared new photos of herself 10 years after while campaigning for domestic violence victims to “ask for help before it’s too late”, said the medics who came to her aid after she got help, told her she was just 10 minutes from death.
She even posted further photos, which she says were taken when she was receiving treatment in hospital 10 years ago.

Natalie Finn from West Des Moines died October 24 from emaciation due to denial of critical care, according to the Polk County medical examiner’s office.
Her mother, 42-year-old
Nicole Marie Finn of West Des Moines, and father, 45-year-old Joseph
Michael Finn II were charged with her death.
Both
faced charges of first-degree kidnapping, child endangerment causing
serious injury and neglect of a dependent person. Nicole Finn was
charged with first-degree murder and child endangerment causing death.
According to court documents, Nicole Finn killed her daughter ‘intentionally, willfully, deliberately, with premeditation and malice aforethought.’
The Finns are accused of secretly confining Natalie and two of her siblings, a 14-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy, inside their small home in West Des Moines.
