Five people arrested for drug in Famagusta

The TRNC police on Monday arrested 5 people in three different operation in connection with drug related offenses in Famagusta.

According to police report, a sensitive balance that is believed to contain drug substance was found in the house of one of the suspects identified as  KIU, 25.

Also, a cash of $700 believed to be from drug sales was found with another suspect, identified as OCC, 22. A substance believed to be a synthetic cannabinoid type drug mixed with tobacco weighing half a gram, was found with another suspect identified as MTIB, 21.

The fourth suspect, PCN, 20 was found with about 3 grams of synthetic cannabinoid drugs while the fifth suspect SB, 33 was found with a substance believed to be a synthetic cannabinoid type drug of about one gram in the bedroom and 2 wrapped cigarettes believed to be synthetic cannabinoid type drug mixed with tobacco.

They were all arrested and detained.
