Fire outbreak in Famagusta apartment - Resident belongings badly damaged

There was fire outbreak in an apartment in Famagusta on Thursday night as a result of faulty electric blanket but no one was injured in the incident.

The fire happened at flat 6, in the first floor of Capar apartment at about 8:30pm on Thursday evening.

The Famagusta fire crew intervened early and put off the fire.

The flat occupant, Prences Brauta Abbayasukuya did not sustain any injury in the incident.

Several household items including bed, chairs, table, kitchen cabinets, television, air conditioner and private belongings of the occupant were badly damaged.
