Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta holds welcome party for new students

The Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta has held a welcome party for all new students who registered for the 2017-2018 Academic Year Spring Semester.

The welcome party organized by the EMU International Office, which is affiliated to the office of the Vice Rector for International Affairs and Promotion of the university was held at the Lala Mustafa Pasa Sports Palace.

EMU Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova who spoke to students at the party, congratulated them for choosing EMU and expressed their satisfaction from hosting them in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

He noted that EMU is a respected university around the world and emphasized that there were about 20,000 students from 106 different countries in EMU.

He urged new students to protect their image, work hard, and integrate with other students during their stay in Cyprus.
