Cost of living in TRNC drops by 0.22 percent in January

The rate of living costs in North Cyprus reduced by 0.22 percent in January announced the State Planning Organization on Saturday.

According to the information, there was a decline in inflation in the first month of the year.

The highest price rise was seen in certain vegetables such as green beans with 50.68 percent, cucumber with 41.40 percent, and Japanese persimmons with 33.30 percent.

The goods with the highest price drop; National Lottery Ticket with 50 percent, zucchinis and tomatoes with 40.34 percent.

According to consumer Price Index, there was a drop in the prices of 6 of the 12 mains and a rise in the other 6.
