Construction worker falls from a storey building in Lefkosa

A construction worker has been seriously injured after falling from a height of about 3 meters from the first floor of a storey building in Lefkosa on Saturday.

According to police report, the worker identified as Yasin Demir, 38, fell after losing his balance while trying to remove the mold boards from a pouring concrete.

Police report say he fell on his hips and broke his spine. Luckily for him, his injury is not life threatening and was kept under medical observation at YDÜ Hospital.
