Congolese star, Lomana LuaLua has been made an ambassador of Turkish Cyprus football. The player who plays for Turkish Cypriot club, Merit Alsancak Yesilova said he is happy with his new role and want to help Cypriot players by giving them something in return.

Speaking to to Turkish Cypriot daily, Yeniduzen, Lualua expressed his satisfaction of being in North Cyprus.

The former Portsmouth of England player said he came to North Cyprus to help develop the country's football and players.

He said he was pleased to be an international ambassador to the country's football.
