3 People seriously injured in trucks and cars accidents along Girne - Degirmenlik mountain road

Three people including a woman and two men have been seriously injured in an accident involving two trucks and two cars along the Girne - Degirmenlik mountain road on Monday morning.

The accident reportedly happened at about 11:30am on Monday morning and according to information obtained, the accident victims identified as Feride Helvacioglu, 45, Mohammed, 25 and Kerem Çavdar, 43 did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

Following the intervention of medical team, the injured were taken to the Burhan Nalbantoğlu Hospital in Lefkosa where doctors confirmed that their situation was better with no serious trauma detected.

The woman involved in the accident is said to be in a more serious condition due to a blow on her chest area.
