There was tension in Magusa on Wednesday as Nigerian students protests the killing of 28-year-old Nigerian, Kennedy Dede by Turkish Cypriots.

Dede was beaten and murdered by a gang of Turkish Cypriots on Tuesday and his body dumped in a lake.

Students on Wednesday poured out en-mass to protest against the killing and demand that the authorities do something about it.
