Paper Round: Manchester City prepare £150m bid for Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard at Chelsea's away win against Brighton
Manchester City want Eden Hazard, and will battle United for Fred, Chelsea want to replace Antonio Conte with Luis Enrique, and Real Madrid want Harry Kane and Maurcio Pochettino.

Man City target £150m Hazard
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is planning a £150m move for Eden Hazard. The Chelsea forward will have two years left to run on his contract in the summer, and had been expected to be a target for Real Madrid. However, Zinedine Zidane - Hazard's hero - is expected to leave meaning Hazard may be prepared to stay in England. The 27-year-old Belgium international would earn wages of around £500,000 a week.

City and United battle for Fred
Manchester United and Manchester City will do battle over another player in the January transfer window. City had long been linked with Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder Fred, but United have emerged as possible rivals for the 24-year-old Brazilian. A fee of £50m has been mooted, but with the deadline closing in, any transfer may now have to wait until the summer.

Chelsea line up Enrique as Conte replacement
Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has emerged as the favourite should Antonio Conte leave Chelsea. Conte is expected to resign or be sacked by Roman Abramovich in the summer, and the Chelsea owner would prefer a candidate who does not have to be extricated from a contract, such as possible alternatives like Max Allegri and Diego Simeone.

Real want Pochettino and Kane
Real Madrid are planning to overhaul their squad in the summer, starting with the exit of current manager Zinedine Zidane. They want to replace him with Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino, but also want him to bring £175m-rated striker Harry Kane with him. Daniel Levy is prepared to give Kane a huge new deal to keep him at the London club.
