Paper Round: Eden Hazard and Cristiano Ronaldo swap deal? Man City look to seal Aymeric Laporte move
It's Monday's Paper Round and the papers are reporting that could Chelsea and Real Madrid complete a sensational swap deal for Eden Hazard and Cristiano Ronaldo?
Hazard Ronaldo swap deal?
The Sun which says that one way Chelsea could be open to allowing Eden Hazard to join Real Madrid is if they were to get Cristiano Ronaldo in return. The report argues that if Manchester United don't want to bring Ronaldo back Chelsea are his only realistic destination, with the Blues' officials worried that Hazard could be determined to leave in the summer.
Our view: The Sanchez-Mkhitaryan swap deal seems to have opened the possibility of more swap deal in the future but the truth is that I dont see the Hazard-Ronaldo swap deal ever happening. Even though Ronaldo is on the decline and past his prime, the possibility of him turning up in a Blue shirt apart from the Red of Manchester is not there. So this story does not make sense.
Our view: The deal already looks very likely for sometime now unless Manchester United should try to hijack it again like they did in the Sanchez case. Watch out because anything is possible.
Our view: Hart's decline has been so alarming... A goal keeper of his caliber should have been able to halt such decline. Like the saying, goal keepers gets better in their later years but Hart is the opposite. Going to Newcastle will be good for him. He needs to be at the world cup come next summer and he needs more playing time to make the cut.

City look to seal Laporte
The Mirror reported Manchester City
are hopeful that they will be able to complete a deal to sign Aymeric
Laporte on Monday. Laporte has said goodbye to his Athletic team-mates
and after a medical is done then the £57 million deal will be completed.
Hart keen on move
The Times reports that Joe Hart is willing to cut short his loan with West Ham in order to secure his place in England's World Cup squad. Newcastle United could be interested after initially exploring a deal in the summer.
West Brom line up £18m Deeney bid
The Mail reports that West
Brom are lining up a move for Watford's Troy Deeney that would be worth
£18 million. Deeney has also attracted interest from Newcastle United
but the Baggies are hopeful that he will choose to return to the
Midlands.
Our view: Deeney is a good player and if West Brom is a step up for him, then he should move.
