Paper Round: Arsene Wenger unsure on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Emre Can denies Juventus agreement
It's Tuesday's Paper Round and as it is, Alexis Sanchez is stealing the headlines,
while the papers also have reports on Pierre-Emerick
Aubameyang, Emre Can and Andy Carroll.
Wenger unsure on Aubameyang
Our View: Wenger have every right to show concern on a player who has disciplinary issues and if Wenger must go for Aubameyang, he must be sure he can handle him. Moreover £50m on Borussia Dortmund
striker is too much considering he is 28.
Aubameyang ‘hands in transfer request’
Our view: This is not a surprise anyway as the player feels he is maltreated in Dortmund. He has been suspended from the team on three occasion due to indiscipline. Looking at the right side, Arsenal will be the winner if they can get a player of his quality as they face the prospect of losing Alexis Sanchez soon.
Can denies Juve agreement
West Ham ‘won’t loan out Carroll’
West Ham are unwilling to let Andy Carroll join Chelsea on loan this month, the Daily Mail reports. The Blues are reportedly lining up Carroll, with the club believing the striker is keen to join them given they are in the Champions League – as well as the fact that his family would not have to move.
Our view: Ok Carrol, it's one thing to go to Chelsea and it's another thing to play but who wouldn't want to go to Chelsea when the opportunity arises?

Wenger unsure on Aubameyang
Arsene Wenger is unsure whether Arsenal should splash out £50m on Borussia Dortmund
striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Daily Star reports. Wenger has
concerns over the Gabon international’s temperament, while he was most
recently left out of Dortmund's squad for Sunday’s game against Wolfsburg after missing a team meeting.
Aubameyang ‘hands in transfer request’
Arsenal’s bid to sign Aubameyang has been boosted after the
striker reportedly handed in a transfer request. According to German
outlet Bild – via the Mirror - Aubameyang put the Gunners on red alert by handing in an official request to leave the Westfalenstadion.
Can denies Juve agreement
Emre Can says he has not yet decided to join Juventus, handing Liverpool
hope that the midfielder will stay at Anfield. Reports in Italy claim
he has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Italian champions, but
Can has not ruled out the possibility of staying at Anfield, where his
current deal expires in the summer.
Our view: Can is an important player for Liverpool so why would he want to leave for Italy? Juventus will be getting a good player on their books if they can land him now or during the summer.
I haven’t signed anything (with Juventus) or anyone. I am talking with everyone,” said Can.
Of course I am talking with Liverpool. Why not? I still have a contract here. It is an amazing club. What can I say? My agent does the rest. I just concentrate on the scene, on my performance and the football. I will give everything for this team, he added.
