McGregor reignites feud with Mayweather, claims he would 'kill' boxing legend in MMA fight
Conor McGregor just won't let it go. The UFC star has reignited his feud
with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather by insisting he would send him to a
'funeral home' if they ever fought in mixed martial arts.
McGregor was stopped in the 10th round by Mayweather last August when the pair clashed in a Las Vegas boxing ring.
But the Irishman posted a picture on Twitter of him aiming a kick at Mayweather with the caption, "Shin bone to the cheek bone. The rule set kept you out the funeral home."
Last month, UFC president Dana White claimed he had held talks with Mayweather about a return fight in the Octagon.
And Mayweather also said: "If I want, I can go, I can come right back to the UFC, I can go fight in the Octagon.
If McGregor does return to the UFC, he is likely to defend his lightweight world title against either Tony Ferguson or Khabib Nurmagomedov.
