Cyprus Weather: Rain, snow and dust expected during the week as temperatures drops
It's going to be a rainy and cold week in Cyprus as more rain and snow (sorry if you are in the north but this is only in the south) is expected to fall during the week as temperatures take a gradual fall.
According to an announcement by the south Cyprus Met Office on Monday, it will be be cloudy with local rains expected in the morning and afternoon, while snow will fall in the higher mountains and isolated storms.
The winds are forecast to be moderate to strong.
During the night temperatures are going to drop to 8C inland, 12C in coastal areas and 1C in Troodos where frost may form.
Some rain and snow will fall on Tuesday as well, and the possibility of thunderstorms has not been ruled out. Temperatures will rise to 16 to 17C in most areas except the mountains where the maximum is expected to be 5C.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday temperatures are forecast to fall noticeably.
Also, if you were observant, you would notice dust particle in the atmosphere in the early hours of Monday morning as airborne dust is currently trapped in the atmosphere.
The entire island had high levels of atmospheric dust on Monday morning and according to met office, the dust should recede by midnight.
Ok guys, do good to keep yourself warm and safe...
