Turkish Lira reach its lowest in seven weeks against the dollar

The Turkish Lira has continued its downwards trend against the dollar, reaching its lowest level in seven weeks with 3,7970TL against the US dollars.  

The Turkish Lira also sold for around 4.52TL against the Euro in the interbank market, while the British pounds sold for between 5,0926-5,0965 on Monday. 

The drop saw a decline of 0.12 percent against the dollar.

 
Experts noted that despite the fact that Christmas holidays in Europe will continue and markets in the US will be opened on Tuesday, investors will be able to watch closely the market during the holiday programs that will continue until the end of the year.
 
Technically speaking, analysts said that 3.75 would be on the agenda if the USD / TL had persistence below 3.80, and 3.85 would be followed by resistance.
