Strong winds and storms in Lefkosa today

The cold is here full time as temperature drops to a new low and for some, it took them unaware. 

The TRNC Meteorology Department on Wednesday issued a warning that strong winds and storms were expected for today.

The statement from the met office warned the public and drivers to be careful, stating that the winds will go from strong to very strong from time to time blowing in a Northerly and Westerly direction.

Temperatures also dropped to as low as 7 degrees and will remain so in the next few days.

The skies will be cloudy for the remainder of the week add the report.
