Only 25% of workers in TRNC hold citizenship

A new report has revealed that only 25% of workers in the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus holds the TRNC citizenship.

The report is according to inspections which were held in 1,853 work places in the TRNC between January and August of this year, by the Department of Labour.

According to the report, 53% of workers in TRNC were of Turkish citizenship, 21% held foreign citizenship and 11% were illegal workers.
