Sport Corner: Is Jose Mourinho lossing it!
The special one is unarguably one of the best coaches of
our generation, a dodged philosopher of his own style of play, a strong winning
mentality, a proven tactician, and an amazing man manager, Jose Mourihno is in a class
of his own.
With a league medal in Portugal, England, Italy, and Spain, winner of the Champions League
with two different clubs from different nations, a Europa league winner (twice), with
FC Porto and Manchester United, the FA cup from all the leagues he's coached in, and
the highest semi finalist coach in the UEFAa champion's league, you have to
respect Jose in his field of specialty.
But how has Jose Mourinho lost it over the years? I have always
known Jose to be a coach who will take the bullet for his team. In 2011, I saw him bow
before his Real Madrid team on the parade/ presentation night of his league
triumph in Spain. In 2010, I saw Italy international, Walter Matarazzi cry like a baby when Mourinho was to leave
for Spain even though he wasn't the first choice centre pair at Inter Milan.
So
what has change of Jose?
Fallout with key players, public outburst with star players, public criticism of his players/team and his inability to accept losses without blaming
someone else.
The new Jose now blames his players, referees and opposition players for losses even as far as blaming the FA for how the fixtures are made.
Mourihno has loss his pragmatic swag of mind games against his
opponent, his tactical unpredictability, his strong defence of his players, and
his ability to take the blame when the chips are down.
Accusing Manchester City
players of been lazy when his team was outplayed on every department is sickening, accusing Manchester City of spending too much, when infact he has the record of the most
expensive buy in the premier leagues is hypocritical.
Could this be the beginning of the end for the Special One?? I
hope not.
