506 people estimated to be living with AIDS virus in North Cyprus
It has been estimated that there are over 506 people living with the AIDS virus in North Cyprus according to a new report.
According to statistics released by KKTC-UNAIDS, the rate of HIV/AIDS detected from students in the TRNC in the 2016/2017 session have been estimated to be as follows:
South Africa 23.1%, Zimbabwe 14.7%, Nigeria is 3.1%, Congo 2.9%, Cameroon 2.7%, Iran 0.1%, Libya 0.1%, Egypt 0.1%, Kazakhstan 0.2% and Turkey 0.04%.

According to the report, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Palestine statistical data on the HIV/AIDS ratio have not yet been established and accordingly, it is estimated that there may be 506 people with AIDS virus in North Cyprus.
