30 Most Outstanding Young Africans in Cyprus Award

YOUNG AFRICAN FUTURE LEADERS  publication presents "30 Most Outstanding Young Africans in Cyprus." 

YOUNG AFRICAN FUTURE LEADERS is an annual publication which profiles 30 of the most outstanding African students studying in universities in North Cyprus.

It serves to formally recognize young  people who excel in their fields or exemplify the best attributes of Africa's young people.

In order to qualify for the YOUNG AFRICAN FUTURE LEADERS AWARDS and to BE featured exclusively in the magazine one must:

- Be of African or African Caribbean Heritage
- Be between the age of 15-40 working or studying in Cyprus
- Be doing something exceptional outside their field of study which marks them as a person of distinction in their community i.e business/entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity, mentoring younger students etc. 


NOMINATION 
1. You can nominate either yourself or someone you know for the award and to appear in the magazine.

2. Specify the award candidate is to be nominated for, include background information, and highlight any previous accomplishments or awards received 

3. Explain in detail why the candidate deserves the award. 
N.B: Please give detailed examples of activities, programs, that supports why you are nominating the person. 

4. Provide websites, insights where OUR reviewers can gather information.

CATEGORIES
1. BUSINESS
Individuals who run successful enterprises in the TRNC which are adding valuable social, economic, and cultural remittances. 

2. Science and Technology
Individuals leading innovation across the continent and potential competitors in the global science space. 

3. Law and Governance 
Distinguished young Africans displaying continental influence based on their roles in public office, politics, their work should have yielded significant commendation from their benefactors. 

4. Academia and Personal Development 
Individuals who have excelled on various academic assignments and Africans who have dedicated their career to training the next generations of African leaders. 

5. Leadership and Civil Society
Highly recommended young Africans championing various activities related to advocacy, religion, civil organizations etc. They have to possess qualities of a leader and must have achieved significant feats in their work. 


6. Social Enterprise and Philanthropy
Activities impacting lives in the TRNC, across the globe and their respective countries. The public on the reach of their impacts must phenomenally endorse their works and achievements. 


7. SPORTS
Diverse sports personalities, who are contributing to the development of various sporting activities, They can be athletes, coaches or individuals directly involved in the sporting industry. 


8. MEDIA
Targeted at journalists, and media personalities who have defied all odds to propel the African stories. Their work should carry a continental focus either good or bad. 


9. ENTERTAINMENT
Diverse group of individuals involved in entertainment, they must be continental icons that command a high level of influence not just popularity but positive impact. 


10. LIFESTYLE
African passionately setting the pace in fashion and Arts which have became popular. These personalities must be leading initiatives and organizations. Have potential for global expansion, adoption and recognition.
