Turkish Lira reaches a record low against the dollars, British pounds and Euros
The Turkish lira has continued to depreciate as it reaches a record low against the US dollars, British pounds and Euros on Monday while the trend continued into Tuesday
The same trend continues today with the TL, currently the most depreciating currency in the developing world, showing the worst performance late Monday.
The Turkish Lira started the day with a sharp decline to sell at 3.97, while the British sterling saw also rose to 5.27tl against the pounds and the level at 4.67.
Following this development, the Turkish Central Bank tried to intervened in the slide but could not effect any significant change.
