TRNC celebrates 34th founding anniversary

As part of events and ceremonies to mark the 34th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus, series of events including a parade were organized around the country on Wednesday.

Series of events to mark the day was carried out around the country.The colourful event which took place at Fazıl Küçük Boulevard in Lefkosa started at about 11:00am and included a demonstration by the Turkish Armed Forces, all major universities in the country, government established and citizens of the country.

Every November 15th is a day set aside to mark the anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

The late leaders of the Turkish Cypriot people are also remembered on the day.
