The Euro reaches a new record against the Turkish Lira
The Euro on Monday reached a new record against the Turkish Lira, breaking the previous record of 4.53 level to reach a new high of 4.5.
The Euro, which started at 4.5188 / 4.5241TL early Monday morning, went up at noon.
The rise in the euro was more than anticipated in the third quarter.
Also the global appreciation of the dollar continues to put pressure on emerging country currencies as the dollar saw a little rise and sold around 3.88 to the Turkish Lira.
The ongoing uptrend in inflation and the increasing domestic debt rollover rates of the Treasury stand out as one of the factors that have putting pressure on the TL assets in the recent period.
