Dust particles to cause air pollution in Cyprus soon

The North Cyprus Department of Meteorology has announced that there will be an air pollution in the coming days as a result of dust particles carried over from North Africa.

In the light of recent meteorological evaluations, it is recommended that citizens with sensitivity to dust be aware, since southern air currents and dust particles carried over from northern Africa are expected to cause air pollution in our region, a Met Office statement read.
