British MP, Theresa May accuses Putin of election meddling
Someone out there in the US might be wary of incurring the wrought of Russian president, but one woman in the West is sure not afraid of anything.
British Prime Minister, Theresa May has launched a strong attack on Russia, accusing Moscow of meddling in elections and carrying out cyber espionage.
Addressing leading business figures at a banquet in London on Monday, May said Vladimir Putin's government was trying to "undermine free societies"and “sow discord” in Britain and the West by “weaponizing information” and “deploying its state-run media organizations to plant fake stories.”
Mrs May said whilst the UK did not want "perpetual confrontation" with Russia, it would protect its interests.
Her comments are in stark contrast to those of US President Donald Trump, who last week said he believed President Putin's denial of intervening in the 2016 presidential election.
Whose scare and whose not?

So I have a very simple message for Russia. We know what you are doing. And you will not succeed,” May said.
The U.K. will do what is necessary to protect ourselves, and work with our allies to do likewise.

He said he didn’t meddle,” Trump said Saturday, answering questions in the press cabin on Air Force One, about growing evidence of Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential campaign.
I asked him again. You can only ask so many times. . . . He said he absolutely did not meddle in our election. He did not do what they are saying he did.
Whose scare and whose not?
