21-Year-old student found dead at his apartment in Girne

A 21-year-old Turkish student was found dead in his apartment in Girne on Wednesday evening.

According to police report, Hayati Oral, was found dead in his bedroom by his roommate at about 9:00pm on Wednesday evening in Girne. 

Upon examination, police said they found no evidence of assaults or injuries on him.

His body was said to have been taken to the Lefkosa Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital morgue for autopsy to ascertain the cause of his death, but his tissue samples was then sent to Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute for examination on Thursday.

He was a 3rd grade student of the department of Gastronomy at the Girne American University GAU, Girne. 

Oral who is said to be very popular among his friends and colleagues, was working a part-time job to help fund his university education.
