Two lorries involved in an accident along the Girne- Mountain road

There was an accident involving two lorries along the Girne - Degirmenlik highway in the early hours of Thursday morning.  

No one was injured in the incident that occurred when a concrete mixer collided with a tanker at about 8:30 am, spilling oil/diesel on the road. 

According to police report, Traffic on the Girne main road was closed due to the oil spill.
 
The road was later re-opened to traffic after sand was laid.  

Drivers are adviced to drive with care and watch carefully due to the slippery nature of the road.
