Turkish Airlines issue warning to all passengers exiting and arriving the TRNC

Turkish Airlines (THY) has issued a warning to it's passengers that there will be a change in conditions for all Turkish Airlines and Anadolu Jet flights departing and arriving at the Ercan Airport, beginning from Wednesday, October, 25 due to the change in summer time in the TRNC that comes into effect on Sunday October 29th.

In a statement released by Turkish Airlines on it's official website, it stated that all THY and Anadolu Jet flights departing and arriving at Ercan Airport will be taken back by 1 hour because of the decision taken by the Council of Ministers of TRNC to revert to winter time.

In accordance with the said amendment, dates and track changes for all domestic and international passengers registered on Turkish Airlines and Anadolu Jet flights between Sunday October, 29, 2017 to Sunday, March, 24, 2018, and also from Wednesday, October, 25 inclusive, as all flights departing from and arriving at the Ercan International Airport will be taken back by 1 hour. 

Therefore changes, may be carried out without penalty and additional charges, and will be valid for individual or group reservations.

Refund requests will be made in line with the fare rules, to be valid for individual or group reservations, and the original ticket rules will be applied for flights arriving at Ercan Airport
