TRNC to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey on Sunday

The TRNC will on Sunday, October 29th celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey with series of events billed for the day.  

Due to the celebrations which will be held in Lefkosa, Famagusta, Girne, Güzelyurt, Iskele and some other places on Sunday, several major and minor roads will be closed to traffic.

The ceremony will take place in Lefkosa at about 09:30 am at the Atatürk Monument where a wreath will be laid as there will be a march past across all the districts. 

A minute of silence will be observed, followed by the National Anthem and then the hoisting of the Turkish and Turkish Cyprus flags.

Also, there will be celebrations in all districts in the TRNC.
