Three Near East student arrested over fighing

Three students has been arrested following a knife fight between two Turkish groups at the Near East University in Lefkosa on Saturday.

According to reports, the groups has been hostile to each other for some time.

 Police said they arrested and detained three people involved in the fight that happened at a parking lot at the university on Friday.

 According to police report, 12 unidentified persons, were involved in the fight.

 Those arrested will remain in police custody for three days according to a court ruling.
