New university opens in North Cyprus

A new university has been opened in the Kyrenia, North Cyprus.

The opening of the Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) in Girne was announced at a press conference held at the Colony Hotel on Wednesday October 18, 2017.

According to information by the TRNC Public Information Office, an exhibition from Erbil Arkın’s special collection consisting of 34 original works by the world-famous sculptor Auguste Rodin, will be on show at the new ARUCAD campus on Friday, October 20.

This is the first university established in the TRNC to focus only on art, design and communication.
